3dar was commissioned to create an out of the box VR experience for an event at Sao Paulo. After giving it a lot of thought we figured out that the best way to go was mixing up two of our passions, soccer and emerging technologies. The result is a soccer experience that combines Oculus Rift and Kinect enabling 2 players to interact on a 3D penalty shoot out contest. First you’ll play the keeper and then the shooter, taking it in turns with your opponent to play on each side. The first person to score 5 goals wins.
