Paper Birds Privacy Policy
This is the Privacy Policy for the Paper Birds project and the pages dedicated to it on www.3dar.com. We have written it to be short, plain, and honest: we do not collect personal information about visitors to these pages, we do not run analytics on this Privacy Policy itself, and we have never received a government or legal demand for user information.
1. Who we are
The Paper Birds project is produced and operated by 3DAR LTDA (“3DAR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an animation and visual-effects studio with offices in Santa Monica, California and Buenos Aires, Argentina. This Privacy Policy describes how we treat information in connection with the Paper Birds project and the pages on www.3dar.com/p/paper-birds and any subpages thereof (together, the “Paper Birds Pages”).
2. What we collect — nothing
We do not collect, store, sell, share, or otherwise process any personal information about visitors to the Paper Birds Pages. In particular, on the Paper Birds Pages:
- We do not ask for your name, email address, telephone number, or any other identifier.
- We do not store your IP address in our application databases or persistent server logs.
- We do not set first-party cookies, local-storage entries, or other persistent identifiers for analytics, advertising, or tracking purposes.
- We do not run any web-analytics product (such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar) on this Privacy Policy page.
- We do not build user profiles, perform behavioural advertising, or share information with data brokers.
- We do not knowingly process information about children.
We are not in the business of collecting visitor data. We are an animation studio.
3. Embedded media and third-party services
The main Paper Birds project page (not this Privacy Policy page) may embed third-party media, such as video players hosted by Vimeo. When you choose to play an embedded video, the third-party provider receives information directly from your browser as a normal consequence of loading their player — for example, your IP address and basic request metadata — under their own privacy practices. We do not control and do not receive a copy of that information.
If you would prefer that no third party receive any information about your visit, you can decline to play embedded media, or use standard browser tools to block third-party content.
4. Server logs
Like any website, the server that delivers the Paper Birds Pages may generate short-lived operational logs (for example, to diagnose errors or mitigate abuse). Where such logs exist, they are kept only for the brief period necessary for those operational purposes, are not associated with any identity, are not used to build profiles of visitors, and are not shared with third parties for marketing or analytics.
5. Children’s privacy
The Paper Birds Pages are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Because we do not collect personal information at all on these pages, there is no children’s information for us to receive, hold, or use.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data-protection laws — including the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA / CPRA, and similar Argentine and other Latin American statutes — to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal information about you, or to object to it.
Because we do not collect or hold personal information about visitors to the Paper Birds Pages, in practice there is no record to access, correct, or delete. If you nonetheless believe we hold information about you, or wish to exercise any right under applicable law, please write to us at support@3dar.com and we will respond.
7. Government and legal demands
As of the effective date above, 3DAR has not received any subpoena, warrant, court order, national-security letter, or other binding legal demand for user information in connection with the Paper Birds project.
Should we receive such a demand, we will scrutinise it carefully, push back where we believe it is overbroad or improper, and — wherever legally permitted — notify affected users before producing any information. We will also update the statement above so that visitors can see whether the position has changed.
8. International visitors
The Paper Birds Pages are operated from servers we engage in the United States and may be accessed from anywhere in the world. Because we do not collect personal information from visitors to these pages, there is no cross-border transfer of visitor data to address. Any correspondence you choose to send us (for example, an email to the address below) will be received by 3DAR staff in the United States and Argentina, in the ordinary course of running the studio.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, to reflect changes in the way the Paper Birds Pages are operated, in the third-party media we embed, or in the law. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
